At 26, Nathan left behind everything he knew in London to follow a deep calling. He moved to Monte Sahaja, a spiritual ashram in Portugal, where he lived and studied under Mooji, a teacher of non-duality (Advaita). Over the years, he became one of Mooji’s personal bodyguards, travelling with him to events across the World to India, the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK.
He left Sahaja during the pandemic and moved to Croatia, where he began tattooing alongside his now dear friend and mentor Darko at Lotus Tattoo & Piercing in Zagreb. The two met on retreats with Mooji, and working in a studio where Satsang and Mooji’s teachings were at the heart of things felt like a gift from life.
After a few years, the call to return to London after 11 years away became too strong to ignore and meeting Megan and her daughter Esmé only increased that urge.
Now, at The Light House, Nathan offers a calm, safe space for those wanting to get tattooed. Sessions are slow and intentional, with a focus on creating an environment where you feel free to share your story or simply be. You’ll be held throughout the experience, and hopefully, leave not just with a tattoo, but having made a friend in the process.
