At 26, Nathan left behind everything he knew in London to follow a deep calling. He moved to Monte Sahaja, a spiritual ashram in Portugal, where he lived and studied under Mooji, a teacher of non-duality (Advaita). Over the years, he became one of Mooji’s personal bodyguards, travelling with him to India, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK.

He left Sahaja during the pandemic and moved to Croatia, where he began tattooing alongside his now dear friend and mentor Darko at Lotus Tattoo & Piercing in Zagreb. The two met on retreats with Mooji, and working in a studio where Satsang and Mooji’s teachings were at the heart of things felt like a gift from life.

After a few years, the call to return to London after 11 years away became too strong to ignore — and meeting Megan and her daughter Esmé only deepened that pull.

Now, at The Light House, Nathan offers a calm, safe space for those wanting to get tattooed. Sessions are slow, intentional and grounded with a focus on creating an environment where you feel free to share your story or simply be. You’ll be held throughout the whole experience.

Alongside tattooing, Nathan also offers 1:1 mentoring for those seeking clarity, direction or a deeper connection with themselves. Most of these sessions have naturally grown out of his tattoo work.

Whether you’re moving through grief, transition, confusion or celebration, The Light House is a place where you can show up exactly as you are. All of you is welcome here, every feeling, every emotion, every part of your story. And when it feels appropriate, Nathan offers a more ceremonial tattooing sessions when appropriate.
